On this particular day, we were viewing the rugby six nations and we were very busy. The bar goes through cycles from when the games finish and the next game begins. We are a large sports bar and with the majority of our customers on these days visiting mainly for the sports, we find that many tables become vacated at the same time.

Slim, who was behind the bar of the smoking room, was easily one of the best bartenders I've ever had....super attentive, outgoing, and looks like he is always having an enjoyable time. Haus Wertheym is really easy to locate on Fahrtor on Römerberg in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
It can take minutes for the areas to look presentable again. We are however a bar that sets the highest standards with our service, quality of food, cleanliness and sports. We endeavour to cater for all our clients whether it's to watch a sport event or to enjoy a homemade meal and a drink. I would also like to compliment you on your other reviews and your superb selection of restaurants in Frankfurt. They are however fine dining and in comparison to o'reilly's, we are an irish pub, that serves good homemade Irish food with a variety of sports.

The couple have decorated the house for Christmas, adding fairy lights, an outside Christmas tree, and one inside with decorations around the famous fireplace. The couple still live there but have bookings scheduled for Christmas, New Year and the summer. We ended up staying into the evening the atmosphere is amazing and the table service is very decent.

Mr and Mrs Bromley have never done a home swap - like the movie - but have had people look after the house while they were away. The food smells delicious although I stopped in for just a glass of wine and to escape the cold. A great tavern and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area. This was my first visit to here and I couldn't have been more impressed and when I in Frankfurt again I will most certainly revisit this tavern.
